Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us for the first annual Camotan Clinic fundraiser. And thank you to all who could not attend but supported us. We are so grateful for everyone’s support. We met our $25,000 goal. Thank you!

Dr. Jovita Toledo talks about how Camotan Clinic came to exist

Dr. Jovita Toledo made the trip from Guatemala. She truly is the backbone of our operation and manages the clinic daily. She supervises all of our employees and interacts with all the Guatemalan government agencies we work with. She has also been instrumental in raising support from Guatemalan non profits. She is a tireless worker and we are so blessed to have her.

Through the night, over 75 people attended the event. We had story boards, speakers and a silent auction. It was a great time for everyone and we had several Guatemalan food dishes catered for those who attended.

Because of our fundraiser, we have many more medical professionals interested in becoming a part of the clinic and doing trips with us. Very exciting!

So Happy New Year to everyone and we will have many more blogs here soon. Our Christmas team just returned from Guatemala on 12/29 where we provided medical care and food to 114 families. Our next medical team is leaving in a few days on 1/9.

Thank you again to everyone!

Happy New Year!
